Pupil Roles
When pupils reach Year 4 we give them the opportunity to take on additional roles in school. The children decide if there is a particular area of school life that they are most interested in and prepare a speech to deliver in a whole school assembly. Their speech outlines their wishes to take on a role and the reasons why they think they would be good at it. The rest of the school then vote pupils in to the available positions.
In school currently, we have a wide range of roles that the children can take on, including school parliament, eco warriors, values ambassadors, sports ambassadors, house captains, art ambassadors and science ambassadors.
